Manifesting This Capricorn New Moon? Here’s Why You Won’t See Results Until July 2023.
Every new moon, we get an amazing opportunity to manifest something new. And that’s because new moons correspond to new beginnings and endeavors. BUT, those new hopes and wishes usually take a few months to fully manifest. For this Capricorn new moon on December 23rd, any manifestations we expel into the universe won’t come into full fruition until July 3rd.

New moons = manifesting, full moons = reaping the rewards
You’re probably familiar with the 30-ish day lunar cycle, or a new moon occurring at the beginning of the month, and a full moon at the end of the month. You might also know that new moons always correspond with new beginnings, while full moons represent results or endings. However, a full “manifestation cycle” is a little different than the 30-day lunar cycle. A “manifestation cycle” actually occurs every 6 months, and happens when the new moon and full moon occur in the same sign. To break it down even more, we just had a new moon in Capricorn occur the day this post was written, December 23rd. We won’t get the full moon in Capricorn until July 3rd, 2023. That’s a full manifestation cycle.
How to manifest using a 6-month lunar cycle
As we know, new moons are for planting the seeds, coming up with ideas, and making plans. Full moons are for reaping the rewards, reviewing, and letting go of things that aren’t in alignment with what we’ve been working on. When a new moon occurs, that’s when it’s time to manifest and whisper your hopes and dreams to the universe. Then, count 6 months forward to find when you might be seeing the results of those manifestations.
Taking house rulerships into account
New moons happen every month, but they also happen in a different house in your natal chart every month. That means that every new moon will light up a different sector of your life each and every month. Whatever house the new moon falls in gives us new opportunities for growth in that area, and we can use this knowledge to set more intentional manifestations. Use your natal chart to see which house the new moon will be falling in this month. For example, if you have Capricorn in your first house (or you’re a Capricorn rising), the new moon will be happening in your first house this month. This means you will have the opportunity to manifest confidence, better style, and personal reinvention this month, and finally seeing that “glow-up” by July 3rd.
